Megan Williams
Associate Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City

Megan Williams joined the Federal Reserve Bank in 2000 as an Analyst in the Retail Payments Support department.  In March of 2006, Megan assumed her current position as Associate Economist in the Regional Affairs department, where she is responsible for current monetary policy research, District economic surveys, and a variety of economic research projects.  She also serves as Secretary for the Oklahoma City Branch Board of Directors and is a former Board Chair of the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education.  Megan holds a BS degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University and a MBA degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Frank Abagnale

Frank Abagnale is one of the world’s most respected authorities on forgery, embezzlement, and secure documents. For over 40 years he has worked with, advised, and consulted with hundreds of financial institutions, corporations and government agencies around the world. Mr. Abagnale’s rare blend of knowledge and expertise began more than 50 years ago when he was known as one of the world’s most famous con men. His riveting story provided the inspiration for Steven Spielberg’s 2002 film, Catch Me If You Can, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Abagnale and Tom Hanks as the FBI agent fast on his heels. The Tony-Award winning musical, Catch Me If You Can, directed by the legendary Jack O’Brien, opened on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre in April of 2011.

Mr. Abagnale has been associated with the FBI for over 40 years. He lectures extensively at the FBI Academy and for the field offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is a faculty member at the National Advocacy Center (NAC) which is operated by the Department of Justice, Executive Office for United States Attorneys. More than 14,000 financial institutions, corporations and law enforcement agencies use his fraud prevention programs. In 1998, he was selected as a distinguished member of “Pinnacle 400” by CNN Financial News - a select group of 400 people chosen on the basis of great accomplishment and success in their fields. In 2004 Mr. Abagnale was selected as the spokesperson for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA). He has also written numerous articles and books including The Art of the StealThe Real U guide to identity Theft and Stealing Your Life.

Mr. Abagnale refuses to accept payment for any of his government work. Today, the majority of his income is derived from consulting with major corporate clients such as LexisNexis, Intuit, AARP, and Experian and his public speaking engagements. Mr. Abagnale has conducted over 3,000 seminars on identity theft, cyber crime and fraud worldwide. Mr. Abagnale works as an advisor to a number of print and technology companies around the world. He spent 20 years as an advisor to the Standard Register Company, creating security features for negotiable instruments, car titles, etc. He spent 10 years as an advisor to the 41st Parameter which developed fraud detection technology, now used in 80 countries around the world and recently purchased by Experian. Today, Mr. Abagnale is an advisor to Trusona (www.trusona.com) in developing the world's first and only insured authentication platform.

Chris George

Mortgage Bankers Association Chairman

Christopher M. George, Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association, is the founder, President and CEO of CMG Financial, a privately held Mortgage Bank, headquartered in San Ramon, California. The company conducts business in 50 states and the District of Columbia and holds federal agency lending approvals with HUD, VA, RHS, GNMA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Founded in 1993, the company is widely known for responsible lending practices, industry and consumer advocacy, market innovation and operational agility. Under George's direction, CMG Financial has developed into a robust firm making its products and services available to the market nationally through three distinct origination channels including wholesale, correspondent and retail lending which also serves the home builder, real estate and credit union communities. CMG Financial offers a variety of home financing solutions including their proprietary products and programs, such as the All In One Home LoanTM, which facilitates faster loan payoff, and HomeFundItTM, to enable buyers to raise their down payment.

In addition to his role at CMG Financial, George has served on the MBA's Board of Directors since 2012, is a member of MBA's Independent Mortgage Bankers Executive Council and MBA's Consumer Affairs Advisory Council, as well as an active member of MBA's advocacy efforts. George serves on the Board of Directors for MBA's Opens Doors FoundationTM. He is the immediate past Chairman of MBA's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Additionally, George is past Chairman for California Mortgage Bankers Association and has served on many advisory boards and task forces within the industry.

In 2012, George established the CMG Foundation, a philanthropic endeavor to support non-profit organizations at both the community and national levels. To date the CMG Foundation has provided valued funding for the Gary Sinise Foundation's R.I.S.E. program, MBA's Opens Doors FoundationTM, Homes for Our Troops, and the Cancer Support Community SF Bay Area programs, as well as benefiting a host of other local organizations.

Joshua Weikers, CFA
Relationship Manager for Fannie Mae

Joshua Weikers is a Relationship Manager with Fannie Mae’s National Customer Delivery Team (NCDT) within the Single-Family Mortgage Business unit. In his position, he is responsible for managing customer relationships with small to medium-sized community banks, credit unions and independent mortgage bankers.  

Fannie Mae is at the heart of housing and strives to be our customers’ most valued housing partner. As a Relationship Manager, Joshua plays a key role in partnering with his customers to help them leverage the wide array of products, capabilities, and innovative solutions that Fannie Mae offers. 

Since joining Fannie Mae in 2013, Mr. Weikers has held numerous positions within Fannie Mae; including fair-value asset valuation and most recently as an Account Executive on the Capital Markets Pricing & Sales Desk, working with customers to manage and hedge their interest rate risk as well as to assess optimal best-execution strategies.

Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Joshua worked for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Salisbury University and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation. Joshua can be reached at [email protected]

Tricia Migliazzo

Tricia Migliazzo
Vice President of Member Engagement

Tricia Migliazzo is Vice President of Member Engagement at the Mortgage Bankers Association in Washington, DC.  Ms. Migliazzo's responsibilities include leading MBA's residential recruiting and residential member engagement initiatives nationwide. She has formed and currently leads a Strategic Member Relations team that develops, strengthens and manages personal relationships with senior executives at the Association's member companies, in order to maximize the value of their MBA membership and engagement. The team coordinates and facilitates the integration of member companies across MBA, by connecting them to the MBA resources that support their individual needs.

Ms. Migliazzo brings to MBA over 15 years of management experience in the mortgage banking industry.  She joins MBA from Lenders One/Altisource Portfolio Solutions, where she most recently served as Director of Business Development/Capital Markets/AFO, growing the cooperative by recruiting members and investor partners while influencing program and product utilization for increased revenue growth.  Prior to joining Lenders One in 2006, Ms. Migliazzo was Director of Operations/Business Development at a mid-size national retail mortgage bank where she diversified product and business divisions/segments to increase market share, expanded target markets, and implemented policies and procedures to adhere to regulatory compliance guidelines.  Before that, she held positions in finance and administration in the healthcare industry.

Micah Macias

President, AMC Mortgage

Micah started her mortgage career at the age of 19 at AMC Mortgage. She started as the Receptionist in March of 2004 and was named company President in October of 2016.

Micah believes that the key to the business’ success is investing in the Employees. Each Employee, when given the opportunity to be authentically themselves, adds to the positive and unique culture of the company.

Micah was born and raised in Tulsa. She has one sister and parents that live in town as well. She jokingly says that although she isn’t married, does not have children or pets, she does have responsibilities because there are 114 employees that she answers to.

Micah believes that work is love made visible and strives to make sure that all of AMC’s clients are shown attention and care through the details of the team’s daily work. She believes that the strength of the mortgage business is built on relationships and she is focused on nurturing the existing relationships built over the last 27 years and cultivating new relationships both internally and externally.

Tabi Howell
Operations Manager, Arvest Mortgage

Tabi serves as Operations Manager for Arvest Mortgage (since 3/2016), where she manages the processing and closing departments, with locations in Tulsa, OK, Lowell, AR, Oklahoma City, OK, and Overland Park, KS.

Prior to her employment at Arvest, Tabi was employed by BOKF Mortgage for 12 years, where she held positions as a processor, managed and developed the Mortgage Training Department, and National Operations Manager.

Tabi’s values tightly align with the Arvest culture, specifically in servant leadership. She is an advocate of transparent communication with an open-door policy. She feels strongly that empowering her associates is the key to a successful team.

Tabi is a native to Oklahoma and enjoys spending time with her husband and children, running, and soaking up the sun at the lake.

Sherri Calcut

President, BOK Financial Mortgage

Sherri joined BOK Financial Mortgage in September 2016 after relocating to Tulsa from Holland Michigan. Sherri has a strong history of leading both loan origination and operations. She has managed production, operations, underwriting, fulfillment, and appraisal management.

Sherri’s experience spans more than three decades and includes production channel management (Retail and Consumer Direct), credit risk management, and compliance.

Prior to BOK Financial, Sherri served as an executive leader in Mortgage Banking at Fifth Third Bank, Mortgage President at Mercantile Bank of Michigan, and Director of Operations & Underwriting at Republic Bank.

Sheraz Syed
Regulatory Associate in Residential Policy, Mortgage Bankers Association

Sheraz Syed is a Regulatory Associate in Residential Policy at the Mortgage Bankers Association in Washington, DC. As one of the attorneys that staffs the MBA Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Committee, he drafts responses to proposed rules and provides research, policy analysis and logistical support to MBA’s Regulatory Counsel. As a subject-matter matter expert on privacy law and a Certified Information Privacy Professional, he has taken lead on issues surrounding consumer data privacy and cybersecurity.

He joined MBA in 2017 after spending time as a litigator with a boutique firm in New York, representing financial institutions, debt collection agencies, and commercial real estate companies. He has also held positions at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

With a background in science, Sheraz focused on information technology while earning his law degree at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.

Dickens Jacques

Dickens Jacques is a Sr. Loan Specialist with six years of successful experience in VA Loan Guaranty with a focus in loan origination, underwriting, and auditing. Graduated with a Master’s degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.  A strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace.  Dickens is a Veteran serving Veterans; discharged ARMY sergeant with 6 years of service, and 2 years of combat deployment.
